So, last week was the beginning of spring!  The trees are budding and with the slightly warmer temps, all kinds of creatures are back.  From lovely Tufted Titmice and Chickadees, to dreaded ones like stinkbugs and bumble bees.  Okay, first a bit about me;  I fear bees.  BIG time.  I'm not allergic, but I fear them nonetheless.  So when I saw this BIG Carpenter bee staring me down, I looked at it very carefully.  This is what I came up with:
4mm Onyx beads, 4mm freshwater pearls, 4mm Sun bi-cone beads and 24k gold plated seeds.

At first, I wasn't very impressed with the combination, but as it came together, it really looked great!  Very 'Springy!'
I'm off to Beadazzled in Baltimore to do some replenishment shopping.  Maybe I'll find some new beads!  I'll post my haul when I return!
Well, I'm just about finished with the new website, and as much as I was dreading it, it's becoming much easier to create and update.  I hope to come here and update as I create more jewelry and maybe even talk beads.  Vent frustrations.  Celebrate victories and a good sale!  I'm sure things will fall into place soon.  YAY!
